Donna Lynn Morris Khan

Donna Lynn Morris Khan is a talented communicator, researcher, collaborator and negotiator with a passion for storytelling.


Khan holds the MA in journalism, research track, from The University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. She received the Excellence in Graduate Research Award for her large scale, qualitative study on journalist preparedness and Russian stereotypes.


Khan manages the media, communications, grantseeking, qualitative analytics, and proposal preparation for Five Horse. She recently brokered a complete redesign of a popular business weekly, resulting in a distribution deal with Barnes & Noble in the United States. She has written grants in excess of $4 million dollars in 2022 and has a deep understanding of the agriculture, media, sustainble development, and corporate social responsiblity spaces.


As a popular writer, she has written major magazine pieces for magazines including Cigar Aficionado, Bon Appetit, Town & Country, Robb Report, Outside Magazine, Veranda, and Polo Magazine. She was contributing travel editor of Log Home Living Magazine from 1993 - 1999, for whom she wrote a monthly column.


As a speaker and researcher, Khan has written about gender equity and political power. She has spoken at the Gendering Asia Conference at Copenhagen University in Denmark; at the Women & Politics in Asia Forum in Islamabad, Pakistan; and at the United Nations in New York.


She is a member of the Jamestown Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Mayflower Society, and various other genealogical societies.
